MicroRate, the foremost rating agency for microfinance, announced the financial institutions that obtained the best international grades in institutional and social ratings for 2018. Grooming Centre is one of four microfinance institutions globally to receive an α- in the institutional rating category and 4 stars [out of 5] in the social rating category. The exclusive list was mostly dominated by Latin American institutions, with Grooming Centre emerging as the top rated African microfinance institution.
